Privacy Policy

Orthodox Daily Prayer is designed to keep personal devotional activity private. The app does not operate its own user account system and does not sell personal data.
Data Stored On Device
The app may store these items locally on your device using Apple system storage:
- Language and calendar preferences
- Notification preferences
- Jesus Prayer counter value
- Saved prayers
- Fasting tracker entries and fasting goals
- Bible bookmarks, highlights, and private notes
- Churches marked as visited
- Local premium unlock state
Location
The app may request location access when you use church discovery. Location is used to find nearby Orthodox churches through Apple Maps/MapKit and an approximate OpenStreetMap/Overpass search center. External church search requests use an approximate two-decimal search center rather than storing or sending your live precise location on an Orthodox Daily Prayer server.
Calendar Data
The app may request Orthodox calendar data from orthocal.info. Those requests may include date and calendar-tradition information. The app falls back to bundled content when the live calendar is unavailable.
Purchases
Optional Orthodox Prayer Plus purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Orthodox Daily Prayer does not receive your full payment details.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device through Apple system notification services.
Sharing
Visited churches, saved prayers, Bible bookmarks, fasting records, and devotional notes remain private unless you choose to share content using Apple share features.
